Chanel Peridot

I have been working extra late for the past week so decided to treat myself with a few goodies! My mother was running out of her favourite chanel sycamore coco rouge lipstick (and by the way she has tried so many lipstick and this is the best she has ever used, highly recommended) So while I was getting that for her as a little treat I also decided to look at their new autumn winter 2011 collection. I spotted it about a week and a half ago but I didn get the time to test the products and was looking forward to getting them all week long. So when I finally wasn’t working a 12 hr day I went into Brown Thomas and decided to treat myself.



I’m a big MASSIVE fan of nail varnish, but I always tend to go for the same colours in different tones and finishes. It’s always reddish and nudey colours, of course there are a few exceptions I do love the pinks and wear some brighter shades during the summer but I am not immediately attracted to them.

I absolutely love how it looks with other metallics!

But when I saw the goldy-green with a hint of teal in the little beautiful bottle I immediately fell in love! I wanted to get it there and then but when I went up to the makeup artist she told me that it was sold out! I was devastated it was one of those days when you want to get something, anything and there was nothing I wanted apart from this and it was sold out!


So i ended up going the next day, when they were meant to have their delivery and managed to get the second last. Its quite costly, in Ireland it retails for €21 but it has not chipped at all for over four days and the colour makes me smile every time I look at my nails.

FOTD

I love looking at other bloggers FOTD so I decided to post my very first one too!
I went to a friends wedding over the weekend I wore a very simple topshop cream dress, black shoes and clutch, red lipstick and loads of winged liner.
This was my first proper wedding ( that i was invited to myself and not as a date :) And there will be loads to come in the next two years, so I was wondering if there are any rules as to what to wear. I would love to hear your advice!!

What to wear?!

Hi guys!! I need advice, I m going to a wedding and I don’t really know what to wear, as I will be in work I wont make it to the church but will go to the meal. I have two outfits that I could wear but I’m not sure which one to go for. I didn’t want to but a cocktail/weddingly dress as I tend to only wear them once and I wanted to get more wear out of what I bought. Please help me decide between the two!!

I dream of perfect skin..

I love skin care products, I have so so many but I don’t seem to use most of them and I think it’s because I get disappointed when I don’t see results straight away. My biggest skin problem is blackheads, no matter how many times I get spa treatments that are meant to get rid of them nothing seems to help clear the dirt and minimize the pores.

Do any of you know of any good products that are meant to help? As I really wanna try the dewy look I think you need to have healthy skin so I’m trying to start a new skin care routine and willing to try almost anything :) All your comments are greatly appreciated!!

Favourite Lipsticks

Hi guys, hope you all had a wonderfull weekend! I surely did :) the weather was amazing!!

Lipstick Time :)

After a hard days work I decided to go to my local MAC store and pick up a little treat for myself. I love pinky/nude lipsticks so I decided to get SNOB and its right up my alley!
I don’t know why I haven’t looked at it before as it’s a lovely colour as many of you are probably aware! :)

What is your new favourite lip product, or the one that you just didnt pay any attention and now love?

FIne line between shiny and glowing?

My t zone well its actually just my nose is quite oily and I still haven’t found the perfect powder that would stop the shine for more than a couple of hours :( lately I’ve been using MACs blotting powder but it doesn’t seem to work as well as they say it should!

I would love dewy and glowing skin and to be able to highlight my nose but I’m afraid that I will look too shiny.

What do you think of the pic below?? Shiny or Glowing?!
Are there any powders out there that you think actually work and absorb oil without being too heavy?
